Privacy
We keep things simple. FOR YOU events, based in Almere, only collects what we need to run our events and to keep you in the loop — nothing more. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your data.
What we collect
When you sign up for our mailing list we store your email address. When you buy a ticket, your order and payment details are handled by our ticketing partner — we never see or store your card details, only the order confirmation we need to let you in at the door. When you visit the site we collect basic, anonymous usage data to keep it running well.
Why we use it
To send you the event announcements you asked for, to process your order, and to let you in at the door. We rely on your consent for the newsletter, and on the need to perform our agreement with you for anything ticket-related. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for anything you wouldn't expect.
Who we share it with
Only the partners we genuinely need to run the event: our ticketing provider, our email/newsletter provider, and our analytics provider. They process data on our behalf under an agreement and may only use it to provide their service to us — never for their own purposes. We don't share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your newsletter email until you unsubscribe. Order information is kept for as long as we're legally required to (for tax and administration), and then deleted. Anonymous usage data is kept only briefly.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold on you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time via the link in any email. You can also object to how we use your data, and you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Just send us a message and we'll take care of it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the site and to understand, in aggregate, how it's used. We don't use tracking cookies to build a profile of you or to serve you ads.
